In October, RIZE hosted a webinar to release the findings of a study of harm reduction practices in shelter settings in partnership with Boston Medical Center, led by Avik Chatterjee, MD and Thomas Regan. A panel discussion followed a presentation of the findings, moderated by Commissioner of Health and Human Services for the City of Worcester, Mattie Castiel, MD and featuring panelists Mario Chaparro of Eliot Community Human Services, Desiree Demos of EVA Center, and Gregory Grays-Thomas of Boston Public Health Center.
