Innovations in Addiction Treatment and Harm Reduction

On May 17, 2021 RIZE Massachusetts Foundation and The Kraft Center for Community Health at Massachusetts General Hospital hosted a virtual convening focused on innovations in addiction treatment and harm reduction. The goal of the event was to highlight the importance of ingenuity and novel approaches in the field of addiction services as we continue to address an overdose crisis that has only been exacerbated by the COVID pandemic.
The event included remarks by Secretary Marylou Sudders, MSW, ACSW, Massachusetts Health and Human Services; a keynote address by Monique Tula, executive director of the National Harm Reduction Coalition; and a panel of experts and people with lived experience.
